Ulua Video

One of the thirteen molded fiberglass Uluas I built several years ago,
owned and sailed by Phil Dreifuss in New Zealand.  Video by Ian Ruru.

  1. Light wind :-)
that's what I call "coffee sailing".

I am jealous of the perfect landing in the surf.

Greetings from the other side of the ocean.

  2. Since I got my canoe up and running there has only been 20-30knots of wind. Its hair rasing!
    this looks like a dream!

  3. Brings back great memories of sailing my s&g over several summers at Hahei. Kick up rudder made surf landings a blast. Drag the whole canoe up the beach and leave it above the high tide line, ready to go at a moments notice. Fishing, gathering kina, cruising, ghosting, hours of fun. Buy one or build your own, highly recommended.
